Hello there! Welcome to my first official Got to Glow blog post.
For Memorial Day, I whipped up a patriotic and vibrant bowl of delicious oatmeal. It was so good, simple, quick, and absolutely delicious. This bowl is great for any time of the year. Let’s glow !
- 1 packet of organic original Quaker Oats
- 1 cup of The New Barn unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp organic Nature’s Promise Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup organic blueberries
- Dash of pink Himalayan sea salt
- 1 level scoop of Vital Proteins Collagen
- 1/2 of a ripe banana mashed for sweetness
Add all of the above ingredients, including the blueberries, in a pot or sauce pan on the stove and cook for about 5 minutes on medium heat while stirring.
The blueberries will burst, giving the oats that beautiful, vibrant periwinkle blue color.
I topped the bowl of with a splash of Sadaf Rose Water, a handful of organic raspberries, and some organic unsweetened shredded coconut. Voila! You have a bowl of scrumptious nutrition.
